Homemade Stuffing


  • 1.5 Cup Celery, diced
  • 1.5 Cup Onion, dice
  • 1 Large Clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 Loaf Italian Bread
  • 32 oz Turkey Stock
  • 2 sticks Butter
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 4 oz Thyme, chopped
  • 1 pound Ground Italian Sausage
  • Salt and Pepper


  • Sweat the onion, celery and garlic in a sauce pan with oil, salt and pepper over medium heat.
  • In another sauce pan, reduce the Turkey Stock in a rolling boil until it's half gone.
  • Add the reduced Turkey Stock to the sauce pan with the onion mixture.
  • Brown the Ground Italian Sausage and add to the sauce pan that has the onion mixture.
  • Drop 2 sticks of butter to melt in the sauce pan with the onion mixture. Once it is melted add the the Thyme.
  • Rip up the Italian Bread into small pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
  • Add the onion mixture to the mixing bowl with the bread and mix well. All the bread should be wet, not soggy.
  • Take a sheet pan and spray it with pan spray. Spread the mixing bowl mixture on the sheet pan and cook in oven at 350 degree-F for approximately 35 minutes until the top of the bread is toasted.
  • Remove from oven and serve.
