Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe

This Delicious Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork recipe is juicy, tender and full of flavor. Every bite will melt in your mouth.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 LBS Pork Butt also known as "Boston Butt" or "Pork Shoulder"
  • 4 Ounces Cinnamon
  • 2 Ounces Cajun Spice
  • 1 Ounce Salt
  • 1/2 Ounce Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Ounce Cumin
  • 1/4 Ounce Fennel
  • 1/2 Ounce Ground Mustard
  • 1/2 Ounce Smoked Paprika
  • 8 Ounces Brown Sugar
  • 2 TBSP Oil
  • 14.5 Ounces Chicken Broth

Instructions
 

  • Mix together cinnamon, cajun spice, salt, pepper, cumin, fennel, ground mustard, smoked paprika, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl to create the Homemade Pork Rub.
  • Coat the Pork with oil to get it wet. Then roll the Pork in the home made Pork Rub until completely covered with the seasonings.
  • Place the Pork in the Slow Cooker. Add the chicken broth. Cook it on high for 4 hours and then low for 4 hours.
  • Remove the Pork from the slow cooker and cut into 4 equal pieces
  • Place each piece (one at a time) in a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. Set on high for approx. 40 seconds until shredded. Add some of the drippings to the mixing bowl as needed to keep the meat moist. Repeat this step with each pork piece.
  • Once shredded, your pulled pork is ready to be served. You can add your favorite BBQ, if desired.
